The Experience Design division within AIG brought the full spectrum of best practices into the company to help modernize its internal culture and products across the board with todays user behaviors and technology advancements.

With this dedicated internal team, the introduction of things such as, design thinking, multi disciplinary Agile teams, a design language, design libraries and tool kits, research, test driven design processes, prototyping, UX business strategy and much more were introduced with great success. The typical day to day is spent solving huge complex business problems with modern processes and techniques to execute solutions that satisfy business requirements and enhance the users experience.

JPMorgan iPad app for financial advisors embeds all the latest financial content including Guide to the Markets, videos and podcasts, into the daily lives of financial advisors. Creating an intuitive, easy way for Advisors to have discussions with their clients, seamlessly and across the web. This app further extends the JPMorgan brand and embeds the thought of leadership offering into the daily lives of financial advisors, analysts and Client Advisors. This iPad app should prove to be an invaluable tool for advisors.

the equivalent of their points in dollars and how far away they are from reaching the next goal in the reward points rewards program

Using a lot of the same development techniques pioneered from previous car configurator projects, the interactive 3D exploded view helped take this project to the next level..

Interactive slot machine style storytellingfor Heineken Beertime Stories advertising campaign. With special footage shot and filmed explaining various historical stages of the brand. The short film footage clips where shot in a way so that any clip could be watched in any order while seamlessly transitioning to the next clip. Spin the slot machine to watch any random combination of three short clips to make a unique dynamic video viewing experience thanks to a clever algorithm.

WebGL Twitter visualization experiment for Nike #Fuelband launch. Google docs script used for data collection of tweets over long time period. Sentiment engine used to add extra data on pos/neg mood of each tweet. On going experiment to visualize sentiment of tweets by color. Requires WebGL enabled browser.

iPad application showcasing luxury diamonds from DeBeers. Using an interactive 3D rendering of a diamond. A lot of research involved to make the 3D interactive element with the diamond possible.

R&D Prototype 

Browser Speech Recognition

Browser speech recognition API R&D prototype + CSS3 3D Transformation. Conclusion: works pretty well in terms of voice recognition, however, a little inconsistent. Until native HTML hardware access is available, Flash is the only way for mic access. CSS 3D transform currently just supported in mozilla and webkit based browsers. User experience can be inhibited by background noise and push to talk mode takes away from hands free experience. Otherwise fun little project and can see a lot of potential in the technology down the line.

Stylish microsite for DeBeers diamonds to compliment their Forevermark Encordia Collection. Using the most subtle of interactive details to bring out the quality of their products. The centerpiece of the UI was to have the collection floating in an interactive 3D experience. Using dynamic scripted effects to create depth of field as the user interacted with the jewelry rotating the pieces in and out of focus.

Interactive visualization of Ferrari Formula 1 drivers performance on race tracks all over the world using their REAL F1 race data. For Ferrari club members only this experience allowed them geek out on all the stats on speed, G-Force, laps times etc, on numerous race tracks from real Ferrari race data from the actual race season. Select up to 3 drivers choose a track and compare their performance, analyst the data visualization and see who braked the latest or see who is faster in the wet.

By following special hashtags created for the launch of HALO ODST the buzz surrounding the launch of the game across the world, was captured in this 3D globe visualization, tracking and displaying geo coordinates of tweets from countries around the world.

Dynamic leader board for international Nike+ 10k Human Race. Viewed online and on site in London's Wembley Stadium. Using data from races ran simultaneously in cities across the world, to visualize live real time results of average race times to determine the winning city. Involved tight co-ordination with organizers for race data to be input into a dynamic data base that powered the visuals. On site technical operation of the leader board visual for connection into Wembley stadiums Jumbotron displays and also hooked up to broadcast live across the Internet..
